Welcome to Keep Calm & Carry On! Writing a blog has been something I’ve contemplated for awhile, and the hours of unreserved time that I have during the summer have motivated me to finally do it. I think that Ada Louise Huxtable captures the ambience of the season quite well:
“Summer is the time when one sheds one’s tensions with one’s clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all’s right with the world.”
Right, but I can only have so many perfectly lazy, languid days before I want to poke my own eyeballs out due to sheer boredom. Ipso facto, a blog is born.
I’ll be commenting on anything that I find intriguing, but my posts will be mostly centered around fashion, food, and social media. Feel free to skim my “About Me” section or to contact me with your questions and suggestions, rants and rave reviews.
